Union Minister State for Road Transport and Highways Shri Mansukh L. Mandaviya held interaction with party members at the BJP office in Aizawl during his visit to the state of Mizoram on 5th May.
During the interacting, he expressed happiness over the formation of the BJP-led government in the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC). He said six Congress elected members supported the BJP-led government after forming the United Legislature Party (ULP).
“The formation of the BJP-led government, supported by six Congress members in the CADC, signifies the Congress is losing public confidence in Mizoram,” Mandaviya said.
Earlier on 4th May, the Union Minister had conducted a review meeting of National Highways works in North Eastern Region (NER) states at Aizawl with special reference to slow and delayed projects. He asked the officers for effective supervision, regular quality check and for ensure timely completion of projects.
